Every year on 4 February, countries around the world observe World Cancer Day, a global awareness initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The day highlights the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and supportive care, while encouraging governments, institutions, and communities to work together to reduce the global cancer burden.
