Waste pickers from African Reclaimers Organisation (ARO) picketed outside the Pikitup offices in Braamfontein demanding that the Acting Managing Director, Segala Malahlela, address them.

The organisation said ​the MMC for environment and infrastructure services Nico de Jager, had failed to engage with them.
