Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya has leveled explosive allegations against the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, claiming they are the architects of a coordinated campaign to destroy his reputation. Testifying before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Wednesday, Sibiya argued that the party is the primary "driving force" behind the controversial July 2025 briefing by KwaZulu-Natal Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. During that briefing, Mkhwanazi had publicly alleged that the criminal justice system in Gauteng had been captured by drug cartels and shadowy business interests. Thabiso Tema spoke to MK Party Spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela.
