The initiative, known as the Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) Programme, is being introduced under a Ministerial Directive issued by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), with implementation being led by the SABS as part of broader efforts to strengthen product safety and regulatory compliance.
