Mxolisi Ntobela, Secretary of Cope in Ekurhuleni says several members of the Congress of the People in Gauteng are calling on the Party’s leader Mosiuoa Lekota to step down as party president and a member of Parliament, saying he is unwell and suffers from poor memory. Defiant Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota said those calling for him to step down as party president and a member of Parliament have breached several parts of the party’s constitution.
