My vote counts communications manager Sheilan Clarke says the threshold for party political funding should be brought down from R100 000 to R10 000. Currently, parties need to disclose the identity of and amount of money paid by all persons or entities who donate more than R100 000 per financial year. She says this will reduce corruption at local government.
