Forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan spent two days before Parliament’s ad hoc committee rejecting allegations that he is a foreign intelligence operative, defending his anti-corruption record, and answering tough questions about a R100,000 payment he received in 2007. O’Sullivan appeared on 10 and 11 February 2026 before the committee established to investigate claims that a cartel has infiltrated South Africa’s criminal justice system, political structures and elements of the private security sector.
