The contentious uMkhonto weSizwe trademark at the center of the copyright infringement court tussle between the ANC and the uMkhonto weSizweparty, has been registered as belonging to the ANC. NPO Legacy projects who had previously trademarked the logo says it has given the trademark to the ruling party. uMkhonto weSizwe was the ANC’s paramilitary wing during apartheid, Zuma who has now entered the political fray uses the name and a strikingly similar logo for his own political party.
