David Mashabela, also known as King David, is a seasoned South African radio presenter with over 30 years of experience in the broadcasting industry. He currently hosts “The Royal Playground” on Radio 2000, airing weekdays from 12 to 3 pm.Born and raised in Mamelodi, Pretoria, David completed his Matric in 1992 at VlakfonteinSecondary School. He pursued higher education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, studying for a BA in Economics and Industrial Psychology.David’s radio career began at Durban Youth Radio, where he honed his skills as a presenter and writer.
