Marlon Daniels, the national chairperson and chief whip of the Patriotic Alliance, has recently advocated for the removal or significant modification of South Africa’s Z83 employment application form. Dr Anusha Naidoo, Acting deputy director-general of the department of public service & administration also joins in the conversation and defends the Z83 form, stating that its racial classification sections are mandated by the Employment Equity Act (EEA).
