In a last-minute move, The African National Congress (ANC) reached a deal with ActionSA to elect Dr Nasiphi Moya as the new mayor. 

ActionSA president Herman Mashaba met with the ANC's negotiators on Tuesday night at a hotel in Sandton.  The ANC presented Mashaba with a co-governing plan which also includes a few other parties in the Tshwane council. Thabiso Tema spoke with Lesego Makhubela, ANC Gauteng Spokesperson.
