This week on Pour Minds, Lex P and Drea Nicole are sitting down with rapper, singer, and
songwriter Akeem Ali, and from the second he steps into the room, the energy instantly turns
into pure, top-tier comedy. Akeem keeps it 100 on the harsh realities of independent touring,
why slow ticket sales will make an artist rethink their whole strategy, and the very specific (and
hilarious) target audience he relies on to keep his shows packed.

Things get nostalgic as Akeem takes the ladies on a hilarious trip down memory lane, opening
up about his alter ego, his high school days, and the unexpected setbacks that shaped his
hustle. The crew doesn't hesitate to press him on toxic relationship dynamics, either—debating
whether men ever truly regret losing a good woman. Akeem stands on business with his "facts
over feelings" philosophy, insisting nobody is irreplaceable, while Lex and Drea call out the wild
delusion men fall back on when they miss out on a real one.
And, of course, things get completely out of hand when they tackle an "expert" claim that men
should bring a woman to climax twice before penetration. Between whole-house inspection
analogies, "carpet rug burn" arguments, and hilarious audience advice, the room devolves into
pure chaos.

Pour up and get ready, because before you start inspecting the "back of the house," you
definitely need a drink in your hand for this one!
