Tambo Teddies are survivors, each has a number and a recorded history of who purchased the little bear. Since the first bear was made by Tambo local Mary Sutherland in the early 90s, 57,000 have been sown and stuffed by the Tambo Teddy team and can be found in homes across the world. The teddies brought income and tourism to the region at a time of drought and falling sheep numbers. It is a delight to chat with the wonderful Mary Sutherland.
