Ben Castles blitzed the field on Day One of the Outback Queensland Masters in Charleville. Ben knows the course inside out. He started playing at Charleville in 1974 and is the oldest member of the club. He reckons the secret is a good chip and run to the sand green, and a firm straight putt. The Outback Queensland Masters has attracted over 150 golfers who will play at Bioela, Charleville, Quilpie, Blackall, Hughenden and Longreach over a six weeks. Ben reckons it is great for Charleville and the region.
