The Cardassian Occupation of Bajor continues as Resistance fighters carry out attacks on their Cardassian oppressors, fighting for the freedom of their world. The tales of many characters from Deep Space Nine are explored in this novel, featuring the beginnings of their stories as Bajor suffers under the bootheels of the Cardassian Union.
