In this episode, we’re reviewing two very different movies that play in the same genre. First up, what’s been touted as the funniest Pixar movie ever, Hoppers tells the story of Mabel, an animal lover, whose mind is transferred into a lifelike robotic beaver to communicate with animals and save their habitat from human destruction - but along the way, she kinda sorta starts an uprising. Then, we have Project Hail Mary, adapted from Andy Weir’s novel (of The Martian fame), which tells an unusual story of human-extraterrestrial friendship, between two space travellers, each on their own missions. And then on Take Two, we return to an old favourite: What are the best sci-fi movies and series out there?
