Cliff Richard was almost 18 years old when he released his debut 7" single, Move It, but Roddy jumps us forward to 1962 and The Beatles' debut followed by Gerry & The Pacemakers. 1963 debuted The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield followed by Lulu in '64, Cilla Black, Bowie, The Yardbirds, The Kinks and The Animals.

In May 1968, Creedence Clearwater Revival released Suzie Q, then you'll hear James Taylor, The Jackson Five, Eagles, Bruce! and the Ramones. Roddy wraps up Episode 2 of Sparkling American Debuts with Blondie, Talking heads, Prince and The B52s.
