Tshidi Madia whilst at Guinea Conakry for the Africa Day celebration had a conversation with Former President Thabo Mbeki. They discussed Russia, President Putin and South African hosting the BRICS summit. They also touched on the President Cyril Ramaphosa administration and the Cholera outbreak in parts of Gauteng. He also explained South Africa's position in the world explaining how he feels about South Africa not being invited to the G7 summit. He added that educating South Africans and people in Africa about the success of the continent should be of critical importance. When he was asked about his position of supporting the ruling party in the next general elections, he said that his answer is still outstanding.
