On this week’s episode of Politricking with Tshidi Madia, Dr Geraldine Fraser Moleketi joins Tshidi in studio. Many will remember her for role as Minister of Public Service and Administration during Thabo Mbeki’s tenure. She starts off the conversation by reflecting on her introduction to politics and activism and reflects on her time as Minister before resigning in 2008. She  currently serves as the Thabo Mbeki Foundation’s chairperson and she explains why the foundation has been calling for a dialogue between government and citizens as the country navigates the government national unity in the seventh administration. She shares how different this GNU is different from 1994 and how it important it is for the ANC. She speaks about the apartheid trauma that might still exist in many South Africans. She ends of the conversation by sharing her thoughts what ANC needs to do to redeem itself.
