In this week’s episode, Jennifer dives headfirst into the jaw-dropping absurdities coming out of Massachusetts. Jennifer isn’t afraid to call it as she sees it, fiercely defending common sense and parental rights while sharing her own wild journey of motherhood. With her signature wit and real-life experience, she tears into government overreach and the latest crazy policies threatening families.

Jennifer doesn’t mince words as she takes aim at the bizarre shift away from calling moms “mothers” in favor of “birthing people,” and questions what’s in the water in Massachusetts. She calls out a shocking case where a school snatched a child from her parents just because they didn't sign off on their 13-year-old’s decision to transition. Jennifer slams the state’s new idea to send government checkups into every home after a baby is born, a move she sees as pure government overreach. She shows how these policies ignore reality, undermine parents, and don't serve the child's best interests. This episode is a whirlwind of eye rolls, “did they really say that?” moments, and a rally for moms everywhere to wake up and push back against a system that keeps trying to parent their kids for them.

"Governor of the Commonwealth, you are nothing except for a woman who doesn't know what you're talking about. Get out of families' lives." ~Jennifer Nassour

Today on Political Contessa:
Refusing to call moms “birthing people” is not controversial—just common sense
The government wants to barge into your home after you give birth
Schools think they know better than parents (when did that start?)
Taking kids from parents over ideology is beyond crazy
Real moms roll their eyes at experts who’ve never birthed a baby
Government solutions often add more problems for families
Who actually thinks these policies help? Jennifer sure doesn’t
Stop trusting officials who have no clue about real family life

Women on the right need a safe space to discuss politics, policy, news, and ownership over the fact that it is ok to agree to disagree. It is our First Amendment right to free speech. Before we can even out the number of women in our local, state, & federal governments, we need to empower women to feel comfortable and confident discussing these and other topics.

My name is Jennifer. I’m a single mom of three girls living in Boston. I’m a lawyer with two political science degrees, and I have no problem talking politics with people who disagree with me.

I spent three years as the Chairman of the Massachusetts GOP and ran for the very liberal Boston City Council. I’m a frequent analyst on Newsmax, Fox News Radio, and Boston Media. As a Republican in a blue state, I know a few things about how to disagree agreeably.
