About Mikel - he is an independent producer who puts together teams to help people with their original podcast strategy. He does content strategy and integrated communications work, too. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio - when Mikel was a kid, Dayton was a place where they manufactured the future. He wrote that not long ago on his LinkedIn post that he was thinking about the future when he helped launched his first radio station at age 22. It was on his mind when he and his co-founder Jad started Radiolab. Same in 2005 when he turned On The Media into a podcast, giving birth to WNYC's first on-demand audio strategy.
