My next guest is Bryan Barletta - founder of Sounds Profitable - the new weekly podcast adtech newsletter from Podnews. According to Bryan, the goal of Sounds Profitable is to educate and empower each and everyone of us in the podcasting and adtech industry, especially those of us in PodFest Asia Community.  If you’ve had a chance to talk with Bryan directly, you’ll know that he is truly passionate about both adtech and podcasting. He and I are firm believers in learning through asking tough questions and discussing the answers. Armed with today’s new knowledge, he want to help our community ask more questions by taking on complex topics, breaking them down with context, and sharing the knowledge.

When I started podcasting in 2019 making our debut at the rise conference in Hong Kong, it was as simple as uploading audio to anchor and then the magic happens with my content distributed to Apple Spotify Google and wherever you get your podcasts. Then I saw what adtech offered and I was intrigued. Dynamic ad insertion opened up a world of possibilities as I could increase our ad inventory by selling spots tailored to regions in Asia and beyond. Adtech has come a long way in the last few years, and I reached out to Bryan Barletta in mid-Nov 2020 to give my content pillar, The CMO Asia Podcast audience a crash course in adtech, which you can hear in part one of this episode - where he also shares why transcription and contextual is so important in 2021 and beyond. In part two of this episode, Bryan rejoins our virtual podcasting studio during Asia's first ever Podcast Festival, PodFest Asia - A Virtual Event to talk about his #Podscape #Supergraphic and Sounds Profitable's upcoming Product Deepdive series, which is available for free and on demand!
