HIV Ambassador, Ntimbwe Mpamba is the longest living person who was born with the virus in Africa. The Zambian national currently residing in South Africa became an activist after publicly disclosing his status in 2010. Speaking to large numbers of people at various events including churches and schools, Mpamba continues to spread the awareness about the virus. This Mandela day on the 18th of July, the non-profit organization Ladles of Love, has set out to break the Guinness World Record for the world's largest mosaic created entirely out of cans of food. The attempts will take place in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The food cans collected for the mosaic will be donated to communities in need and money raised will feed the hungry. The trans community often struggle to access health care and face unfair discrimination in access to education, sport, employment, and social security.
