South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has pleaded with rich countries to release their hoards of covid -19 vaccine so that other countries can also benefit. Ramaphosa who is also the chairperson of the African Union, made the plea while delivering an address at the World Economic Forum digital summit on tuesday. Discussing the impact of Covid- 19 on the continent ,Ramaphosa said through its participation in global initiatives, South Africa continues to promote the need for universal, fair and equitable access to Covid-19 vaccines.
