The threat of a full-blown civil war in South Sudan remains unless the country's leaders can broaden power sharing. This is according to a new report by the International Crisis Group -ICG- released almost a year since the country's formation of a government of national unity. The report titled "Toward a Viable Future for South Sudan" urges South Sudanese elite, religious leaders and civil society to rethink the country's system of governance and create a political system that will work for all ethnic groups.
ICG's Senior researcher for South Sudan Alan Boswell has more on the report.
