Twenty-nine years after the original, Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker reunite as witchy, church-hating sisters plotting to eat teens’ souls in Salem, Massachusetts. We’re supposed to laugh at their antics. But Christian viewers likely won’t find this story’s dark and occult vibe very funny.
