Australia’s pathway out of lockdown was modelled on a report created for the federal government by a team of infectious disease experts led by Victoria’s highly respected Doherty Institute.

The report modelled scenarios on the number of infections, hospitalisations and deaths at various stages of vaccination and restrictions being eased, forming a pathway back to a relatively normal life for Australians.
