Jethro Lazenby, one of singer Nick Cave’s four sons, died last month at Coburg Motor Inn, a low-rent motel in Melbourne’s north. Police said his death was not suspicious.

Lazenby had been released on bail from Melbourne Remand Centre the day before, having spent two months behind bars for assaulting his mother.

He’d been diagnosed with schizophrenia and had been ordered to undergo substance abuse treatment.
