Tuesday, June 2, 2026: With a trip to the regional round of the New York State Tournament on the line, Trumansburg took on Beaver River at Susquehanna Valley High School. The Blue Raiders struck first with a run in the opening inning, but Beaver River responded with 14 unanswered runs over the next three frames to pull away for a 14-1 victory and advance to the next round of the Class C state tournament.

The Little Red trailed by three goals after three quarters, but mounted a dramatic comeback with three goals in less than 30 seconds to tie the game. With just 12 seconds remaining in regulation, Isaac Lee-Byrnes delivered the game-winner, lifting Ithaca to an 8-7 victory and its first sectional championship since 2018.
