After three quarters of lead changes where no team lead by more than five points, Union Springs pulled away in the fourth quarter winning 61-53. Rocco Testa and Nevin Brown combined to score 43 points for the Wolves contributing to the team's win and first division title since 2018.

Sunday, March 1, 2026: From The Rink in Lansing, Ithaca faced Broome County in the Section IV Boys Hockey Championship. The Little Red struck late in the first period and never looked back, piling up goals in a 6–0 victory over the Bulls to punch their ticket to the regional round of the New York State Tournament.

The Little Red needed to get off to a fast start in this one and they did just that outscoring Elmira 21-14 in the first quarter. After that Ithaca protected their lead, in part to Vaughn Bailey's 21 point performance, to defeat Elmira 77-62.

After a very low scoring first half, Rachel Vickio helped the Lake Hawks get into a groove on offense scoring 13 points on the night. Her performance propelled Watkins Glen to a 39-28 victory.
