Ella Dougherty delivered a walk-off single in the seventh, to lift Union Springs to a 5-4 victory.

Friday, June 7: With a trip to the New York State Championship up for grabs, Union Springs faced Section II's Berne-Knox-Westerlo in the Class C Semifinals from Long Island. The Bulldogs jumped out to a huge 7-2 lead after two innings, and the Wolves clawed back to get within one run. But the bats were silenced as Union Springs was held scoreless and had just four hits across the final four innings as BKW picked up the victory 11-7.

It was a dazzling pitching performance on the hill for Braeden Johnson, who threw a no-hitter for the Spartan-Devils, as they topped the Blue Raiders 4-0.
