IF YOU'RE FEELING THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT: Winter Lights Fest will brighten the night in downtown Aurora on Friday, November 21st. 0The annual festival will be marked by the yearly tree lighting, a drone show, and plenty of festivities fit for the holiday season. The parade, put on by the City of Aurora, will step off at 6:30PM and run along Downer Place, between Water and River Streets. Mr. And Mrs. Clause will usher in the holiday season with an illuminated parade—full of elves, reindeer, special guests, and more. For more information: follow them at @cityofaurorail

IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO LIGHT IT UP: Chicago’s “official” Christmas tree will be illuminated on Friday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. in Millennium Park, near the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Washington St. Guests can enjoy multiple viewing areas throughout Millennium Park, complete with giant screens, seasonal treats, and a vibrant main stage along Washington Street, right beside the Chicago Cultural Center. The celebration will reach its magical finale with the illumination of Chicago’s Christmas Tree, followed by a fireworks display. For more information: check out @loopchicago.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR FAMILY HOLIDAY FUN: Check out the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. The night after Christkindlmarket opens and the city's Christmas tree is illuminated, the Magnificent Mile rings in the holiday season with its annual parade. Beginning at 5:30pm, you'll be able to watch lights in more than 200 trees along Michigan Avenue sparkle as a procession of floats, giant helium balloons, marching bands and celebrities pass by. As usual, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will act as the Grand Marshals. For more info, go to @themagmile
