IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO LIGHT IT UP: Chicago’s “official” Christmas tree will be illuminated on Friday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. in Millennium Park, near the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Washington St. Guests can enjoy multiple viewing areas throughout Millennium Park, complete with giant screens, seasonal treats, and a vibrant main stage along Washington Street, right beside the Chicago Cultural Center. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR FAMILY HOLIDAY FUN: Check out the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. The night after Christkindlmarket opens and the city's Christmas tree is illuminated, the Magnificent Mile rings in the holiday season with its annual parade. Beginning at 5:30pm, you'll be able to watch lights in more than 200 trees along Michigan Avenue sparkle as a procession of floats, giant helium balloons, marching bands and celebrities pass by.
