Chris tell's the story of "Biden's Paradise" as Joe Biden claims there was 0% inflation for the month of July.  In the 12 months through July 2022, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 8.5% following a 9.1% rise in June.

After a Monday raid by the FBI of his Mar-a-Lago estate, Donald Trump then had to head to a deposition in New York where he pleaded the fifth.  Trump's supporters are fuming at the treatment of the former President.  They're also worried about 87,000 new IRS agents - some of whom will be armed according to the posting by the organization made public yesterday.

TODAY'S GUESTS

  • AKASH CHOUGULE - Vice President of Americans for Prosperity |  The centerpiece of the tax plan within the Inflation Reduction Act (IFR) is a 15% minimum tax on the income that big corporations report to their shareholders, a tax known as the minimum book tax. Initial proposals put the amount of revenue raised by the book tax at $313 billion — more than 40 percent of the $740 billion raised by the legislation as a whole.  The tax applies to companies reporting $1 billion in annual earnings.  There's another $80-billion in the IFR to boost enforcement at the IRS. Democrats hope that, with more employUTees, the IRS can more closely examine wealthy individuals and ensure they aren’t dodging taxes.  As if that's the only reason the Democrats look to expand the government organization.  Chougule explains.
  • SHARYL ATTKISSON – Emmy-winning Investigative Journalist, host of Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson on Sinclair, author of, Slanted: How the News Media Taught Us to Love Censorship and Hate Journalism (2020) | @SharylAttkisson | Attkisson, who was targeted unlawfully by the Obama Administration, explains the methods employed by the Biden Administration against a former President should alarm every private citizen.
  • PARIS DENNARD - GOP National Spokesperson, Director of Black Media Affairs | @PARISDENNARD | After the FBI targets Donald Trump and U.S. Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA) by seizing his personal cell phone, the GOP is forced to respond.  Will Leader Kevin McCarthy's threat to investigate U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland be fulfilled?  Republicans must win the House in November in order to make that happen.
