SCOTUS hands down a landmark ruling on the 2nd Amendment rejecting the New York law that put objectionable qualifications on people in the state that wish to carry a handgun.  This on the same day 15 Senate Republicans voted with Democrats to pass the first national gun control bill in nearly 30 years.
