Following Monday's announcement of a vaccine mandate for the city of Philadelphia coming in January of 2022, many wonder how will impact businesses and the cities economy. According to the new mandate, Philadelphian's will need to provide proof of vaccination to eat indoors in restaurants or drink inside bars, or to enter any indoor area that sells food and drink, which would include sports venues. Negative tests will be accepted starting on January 3rd, as well as recent negative COVID-19 tests up until January 17th, when they will no longer be accepted.
