A man in Chicago has brought a lawsuit against Buffalo Wild Wings siting that their ‘boneless wings’ are actually just chicken nuggets.   Phil lets his opinion be known as to the ridiculousness of this lawsuit. A Wisconsin bachelor from Janesville has made National headlines from his unorthodox method of trying to find love. Robert Siegfried has dubbed himself "Wisconsin's #1 Eligible Bachelor" as posted on the electronic billboard he is using to encourage local single ladies to call him. To spy or not to spy? We are slowly uncovering more regarding the Chinese balloon that was spotted, tracked, and eventually shot down over a shallow area of the Atlantic Ocean. Per an article from Reuters “Multiple fighter and refueling aircraft joined the mission to take down the Chinese balloon, but only one - an F-22 fighter jet from Langley Air Force Base in Virginia - took the shot at 2:39 p.m., using a single AIM-9X Sidewinder missile.” Morning Show Host Phil Cianciola discusses the options considered by the US Military, the steps they took to ensure the safety of civilians, and the unexpected uproar from China claiming the US was “obviously overreacting”.

A tweet from A&W Root Beer created quite an uproar. Phil and 'Roz' had quite the discussion on iconic bears and their lack of pants. The Twitter post read: "America, let’s talk. Since 1963, Rooty the Great Root Bear has been our beloved spokesbear. We knew people would notice because he’s literally a 6-foot tall bear wearing an orange sweater," the company said. "But now we get it – even a mascot’s lack of pants can be polarizing."

Phil expanded and gave his 2-cents on a US federal agency considering a ban on gas stoves citing concerns relating to harmful gases emitted.

In Wisconsin, it is a holiday tradition, more specifically, New Year’s Eve, to eat a slice of bread topped with a spread of fresh raw ground beef, chopped onions and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. This my friends, is known as a cannibal sandwich. ‘On The Plate At 8’ is serving up some of that tradition with Phil offering that plate to his listeners. 12-19-2022 Omro Christmas Card Elves Pete and Jill Hennes Grab a cup of cheer and pull up your chair for the Monday 'On The Plate At 8'. Omro Christmas Card Elf, Pete Hennes, joins Phil to share a Christmas act of kindness that he and his wife Jill started in 2020. Because of the pandemic and lock-down state we were in, assisted living facilities such as nursing homes had strict, if any, visitation restrictions in place. Paul and Jill started their Christmas card campaign to provide a little Holiday cheer to those who were alone and unable to see family and friends. Their act of kidness has grown over the past 2 years.  Listen to this wonderful idea turned into a heartwarming tradition:
