Following Joe Biden's announcement that he will not run in the 2024 presidential race, Governor Newsom praised him as an extraordinary and selfless president. Despite recent speculation, Newsom confirmed he will not be a nominee. 

Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. criticized Harris, claiming she will be easier to beat than Biden, and House Speaker Mike Johnson called for Biden's immediate resignation.
