Plans to redo an intersection in San Francisco's West Portal have been put on hold, for now.
Transit officials unveiled a redesign for the area shortly after a fatal accident which claimed the lives of a family of four about a block away.
That prompted an outcry from merchants in the area, who said the changes were being implemented without any input from businesses or residents in the area.
A committee is being put together to discuss plans for the area.
