There is good news for residents of Pulens Lane and Durford Road.

Hampshire County Council gave the go ahead for safety road improvements at the Durford Road crossroads last month. The work is due to start in October of this year.

Meanwhile what about the speeding in the High Street at night, is there a solution?

This was a question raised by Shine Radio for our County Councillors, Nick Drew and David Podger.

Is it a case for everyone working together to have a solution, or more drastic measures such as closing the High Street to traffic.

Heartstart Meon Valley attended the Petersfield Community Fair to help educate us on the importance of heart health and how to resusitate.

Steve and Gerald are volunteers with the charity. They train adults and school children locally.

They also dispel concerns people have about using a defibrillator and help us understand where to find one when you need it most.

Hear the voices of people attending and involved with the Petersfield Community Fair.

The event was held at Churcher's College on Sunday 5 July.

Shine Radio microphones were there to capture the spirit of the day and speak to local people.

You'll hear parents from Churcher's College students and performers from the Rock Choir who performed a set of popular covers in magnificent harmony.
