Kate Fairweather comes face to face with a diverse cast of working dogs, perfectly equipped with the instincts, intelligence and training to handle everything their jobs throw at them.

Humans and dogs have worked together for centuries - and still do today in our communities.

Some work with handlers, drawing on their natural hunting, herding, or guarding instincts, or an exceptional sense of smell. Others perform caring roles, providing companionship and support to humans.

Trevor Edwards turned to the gym at Whitehill & Bordon Leisure Centre after an unexpected turn of events. Following a routine operation, Trevor was rushed back to hospital with MRSA. Four months later, he left unable to walk.

Battling through adversity to conquer your goals

Liss Athletic football club keep the minds focused on the league challenge and travel to a tough local tie against a well organised side in Whitehill and Bordon. Liss's coach says this is the challenge that will reveal where his side are truly at. https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/lissathletic/ . Petersfield the Rams men's side had themselves some really good cup results last week. Now the attention moves to league matches with a home and away tie.
