Chris Brown has produced many albums and has been an active member of the Edward Thomas fellowship for years. A few years back he put together an album of the great poet's work delivered by professional actors called "Fast beat my heart (Edward Thomas and family at Steep)". We hear a couple of the poems from that CD which relate to Thomas's experiences during WWI and his connection the Steep area of Petersfield during that time. With Remembrance Sunday approaching Jack Finch and Chris Brown chat about the poet's association with the great war and his poignant observations of the impact on rural communities at that time.
