Karen Goffe has written a book, a factual summary of the strange happenings in Petersfield in 1928 on Chapel Street.

Her grandmother's story was extensively reported in the national and international press in 1930 from the Petersfield Post.

Karen's interest in genealogy led her to uncover the goings on, the times and emotions that give rise to these stories and the crowds that came.

The Story of the Chapel Street Poltergeist

42% of people at the end of life die in hospital when they would prefer to be at home or the hospice. The new EELERT system has helped 200 people in the last 8 months, be where they wished to be at the end of their lives. 

Dr Mary Parkes and Kat Lacey, the Rosemary Foundation's Clinical Lead, tell Mike Waddington about this highly sensitive area with a respectful and compassionate service.

The Emergency End of Life Response Team - EELERT - is provided by a partnerhship of the NHS, Rowans Hospice and the Rosemary Foundation in Petersfield.

Rosemary Foundation working in partnership for compassionate end of life care

Petersfield Climate Action Network - PeCan - held a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing, a film hosted by Chris Packham, at TPS on Thursday 21 May, that tries in 50 minutes to distil the facts from science around climate change.

The film was followed by a panel discussion with Damian Hinds MP, Aimee Felus, Chief Executive of Western Sussex Rivers Trust  and Paul Turner from the Ministry of Eco Education,

Greg Ford, chair of PeCAN, said it was about kindling ‘re-awareness’ of the emergency and its solutions.

We hear from Greg and Damian HInds MP, and also extracts from the contributions of Aimee Felus and Paul Turner.
