Petersfield’s Mayor, Councillor Chris Page, met Shine Radio's Julie Butler and Mike Waddington for what will be a regular update about his term of office. 

He told us about how busy he’s been visiting many organisations (with a family and a full time job), the issues raised with him - traffic and potholes - and issues coming up at the Council meeting and how people can raise their own voices about issues of concern.

He also told us about his own recent diagnosis of diabetes and how that affects a man 'who loves cake'!  It's not been easy but is in hand.

He also mentions the kindness this news brings from the people he meets.
