We've got new music from Richard 'Ricky' Palmer and James Joe, who shares the story of how a chance reunion at Victorious Festival led to the formation of the band. Plus, there’s plenty more great music from a fantastic line-up of talented home-grown artists.

Joff & Geoff light-up Petersfield

Two local musicians have joined forces to launch a brand-new venture with a big idea: bringing local artists and independent venues together to create more opportunities for live music – and making sure everyone gets a fair slice of the pie!

Zehra Peermohamed and Ian Otway, members of local band Fate of the Magpie, are putting their experience in the music industry to good use. They've developed a new venture designed to champion local talent, support independent venues and keep the area's live music scene thriving. Jo Gray caught up with them to find out more.

Zehra and Ian would love to hear from any interested local artists or venues. Email magpiepromotion@gmail.com to find out more.
