The Current Affairs Group that meets at One Tree Books discussed affordable housing - there’s around a 6 year wait here for some affordable housing with its lower rents.

Linda Wallace from PHA (whose properties are all affordable housing in Petersfield), spoke about what affordable housing is, the challenges around it and how they have £8m to invest in new community projects.

Frank Campbell from a Community Land Trust near Emsworth spoke about their community-led project that provides 12 homes for local people and why they also invested in community assets.

Talking - and building - affordable Housing

Jack Finch meets and chats with the White Horse's new owner Daniel MacMunn and head chef Aaron Taylor. Daniel and his family have taken on this charming village pub very recently with a plan to doing delicious food and an ambitious cocktail menu. From Boston originally, with background in hospitality and mixology, Daniel brings a new dimension the White Horse whilst very much honouring it's roots. Aaron and his Sous chef Isla also give us a little flavour of some of the dishes they're cooking up there at the moment.
