Maddy’s Mark is a charity based in Steep. It helps promote women’s rugby and mental health set up by Simon and Karen Lawrence in memory of their daughter Maddy.

It’s a charity close to Shine Radio’s heart and we followed Maddy’s Aunt Janine Gillard and her fiancée Phil Taylor on an incredible cycling challenge last summer as they raised awareness and funds for the charity.

The charity was established last August and Simon Lawrence gives an update on its recent activities and its ambitions to new Shine Radio volunteer Ann Marden.
