On Thursday 23 October,  this year’s Poppy Appeal was launched, due to the weather, at the Town Hall, with the Mayor, Councillor Chris Paige, buying the first poppy.

We hear from the launch and the Mayor talks about what this means to him as the Council's Veterans Champion, and also for having lost 10 friends in conflicts. 

Daz Hare from the RBL in Petersfield, tells us what is happening and how the funds raised are used.

We also hear from Rev Will Hughes about the Poppy Arch Project, which will be installed on  Saturday 1 November and formally opened at 930am on Sunday 2 November, All Souls Day,
