Steve Field ran a Council team responsible for many things from tourism and marketing to Committees and major capital projects. He retired on Friday 24 July after 10 years there.

He tells Mike Waddington on his first day of retirement about how his farewell was a lot noisier than he expected!

As well as all he did at the Council, Steve also is a Trustee of the Kings Arms, Vice Chairman of Petersfield Royal British Legion and he is well known for the Salvation Army role where he is Regimental Sergeant Major, cornet player and Band Leader.

Steve also coordinates Agencies Working Together, which he does independently, even though the Council support the networking group of 40+ voluntary and statutory organisations in Petersfield,

The future is undecided!
