Our very own Kirsty Meredith is taking part in the FitzRoy fundraiser on Saturday 5 April at Petersfield Rugby Club from 7:30pm and will be walking over hot coals!

It's for FitzRoy who support adults with learning disabilities to live the life they choose. This could be from simple tasks such as being able to make a cup of tea independently, to learning new skills to help involve them to grow and be a part of their local community.

Come along and support the event at the Rugby Club - free parking and the Rugby Club is opening its bar!

Jo Gray recently travelled from Petersfield to Leatherhead to attend the Felinology Cat Show, where she met Norwegian Forest Cat Forestfriend Annie and her owner, John Farnaby.

Annie, a retired champion show cat, was attending as a cat ambassador — a role she clearly relishes — giving visitors the chance to learn more about her majestic breed.

In this slice of feline heaven, Jo also meets more passionate owners and their prized cats, as well as a dedicated rescuer committed to helping cats with nowhere else to go.

There were cats big and small — from gloriously fluffy furballs to striking hairless beauties — a true celebration of feline diversity.
