Andrew Ziminski’s book about stonemasonry - Church Going - was a book of the year said the Times , the Telegraph and BBC History.
He’s speaking at St Peter's Church on Wednesday 4 March at 7:30pm, about the wonders of stonemasonary and buildings over 1,000 years old.
The Reverend Will Hughes will also take people on a tour of St Peter's to point out historic features.
Rural Strides, who organise walking groups over the Western Weald with talks about the history of where they are are walking, has arranged this event.
In conversation with Mike Waddington, Milanka van der Gaau, from Rural Strides, talks about the themed walks they organise, that also point out the architectural features and natural wonders of that walk in the Weald and what the evening event will cover.
